Network Technical Manager at ICT Solution Company in Vientiane

Planning, implementing, and managing the data centre, network, and security infrastructure for our subsidiary in Laos

The Role:

Overseeing the network operations, data centre administration, and security systems and leading a team responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and security of the network infrastructure

Description

Manage the network infrastructure team in Laos
Plan and implement network architecture, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
Oversee the administration and maintenance of the data centre infrastructure
Ensure the availability and performance of network resources, including switches, routers and firewalls
Implement and maintain dynamic routing protocols, optimizing network traffic and performance
Manage relationships with vendors and third-party contractors, ensuring the procurement of quality network and security products and services

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (Bac + 5) in Information Technology, Networks/ Telecoms, or a related field
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a network engineer, preferably in the telecom/ data centre/ cloud computing industry
Strong experience in data centre administration, network infrastructure design, and implementation.
Proficiency in network administration using Cisco, Vyos, Mikrotik, and Fortinet equipment
Expertise in firewall technology, especially Fortinet
Familiarity with network monitoring and performance optimization tools
Fluent in Thai or Lao. Good command of English
