Transportation & Customs Compliance Supervisor for a Global Agri Company in Laos
- Oversee transportation operations and customs compliance to ensure efficient cross-border logistics performance
- Up to 3,000,000 LAK plus allowances
The Role
This role is responsible for managing transportation operations and ensuring full customs compliance across cross-border logistics activities. You will coordinate multiple transport modes, oversee export processes, and work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods across the region

Description
- Manage daily transportation operations across truck, sea, air, and rail to ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate cross-border shipments and oversee export processes in line with international trade regulations
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with customs requirements and Incoterms
- Work closely with customs brokers and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth and timely clearance
- Monitor logistics performance, including delivery timelines, damage rates, and cost efficiency
- Track vendor KPIs and drive performance improvements across logistics partners
- Support the development and onboarding of new logistics service providers
- Establish and improve SOPs for transportation and customs processes
- Contribute to system improvements and digital transformation initiatives within supply chain operations
- Collaborate with internal teams to support planning, operations, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or transportation, with at least 2 years in international trade or cross-border operations
- Hands-on experience managing multiple transport modes (road, sea, air, rail)
- Strong understanding of customs regulations, export processes, and trade compliance
- Experience working with logistics partners, brokers, and regional stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is an advantage
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
