Operations Manager – Supply Chain for a Global Agri Company in Laos

• Lead end-to-end cold chain and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high service performance
• Up to 9,000,000 LAK plus allowances

The Role

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations including cold chain (cooler), transportation, and logistics within Laos. You will drive operational performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead teams to deliver efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective supply chain operations supporting business growth

Description

• Lead and execute operational strategies aligned with regional supply chain goal
• Oversee cold chain operations, ensuring product integrity, storage standards, and equipment reliability
• Manage transportation and logistics activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
• Ensure full compliance with local and international customs, trade, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and manage KPIs across safety, quality, cost, and service performance
• Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage operational budgets and optimize cost-to-service performance
• Lead, coach, and develop operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance
• Build strong relationships with logistics providers, government authorities, and internal stakeholders
• Develop risk mitigation and business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience
• Act as the key operations liaison with regional teams including commercial, finance, HR, and supply chain functions 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• 8–10 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management
• Proven experience in cold chain logistics and customs compliance within Laos
• Experience in agriculture, FMCG, food, or pharmaceutical industries is highly preferred 
• At least 5 years of team management experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English
