• Lead maintenance strategy, plant reliability, engineering performance, and continuous improvement across a major brewery manufacturing site
• Up to 45,000,000 LAK + Allowances 

The Role

Ideal for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at a major production facility in Pakse. The role will oversee mechanical, electrical, and automation maintenance while driving plant reliability, people development, cost efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement

Description

• Lead the maintenance function across mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations
• Establish and maintain strong maintenance standards, systems, reporting routines, and performance management processes
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with EHS, ISO, food safety, hygiene, and group requirements, including LOTO standards
• Lead and develop the maintenance team through structured performance management, competency development, coaching, and succession planning
• Act as the key technical escalation point for complex mechanical, electrical, and automation maintenance issues
• Drive preventive and autonomous maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce operational losses
• Apply Lean TPM and continuous improvement methodologies to identify and close performance gaps
• Monitor key maintenance and production indicators including maintenance cost, MTBF, MTTR, OEE, equipment losses, quality, and preventive maintenance compliance
• Develop annual maintenance plans and budgets while maintaining effective control of OPEX and resources
• Support the preparation and execution of capital projects, energy-saving initiatives, NPD activities, and other site improvement projects
• Manage third-party maintenance service providers to ensure work is delivered within agreed cost, timeline, quality, and safety requirements
• Work as part of the site senior management team to contribute to business strategy and long-term plant development
• Prioritize key maintenance initiatives and ensure appropriate internal and external resources are allocated to critical projects
• Support the development and implementation of the site’s long-term development and maintenance plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Experience in a food production and/or packaging manufacturing environment
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production environment, including at least 3 years at management level
• Proven experience managing maintenance teams, plant assets, budgets, and performance improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Experience with preventive/autonomous maintenance, TPM, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement
• Strong understanding of maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE, maintenance cost, and PM compliance
• Experience managing OPEX budgets and external maintenance/service providers
• Strong leadership and people-development capabilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different functions
