NOC Engineer at a Financial Services Company in Vientiane

• Analyze, monitor, and resolve issues related to servers, networks, and telecommunications systems in promptly

Description

• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot network errors, malware threats, and security vulnerabilities across all systems
• Operate and manage 24/7 data center operations, ensuring seamless service availability and acting as the primary point of contact for on-call escalations
• Install, configure, and maintain new and existing hardware, including server racking, structured cabling, and hardware repair activities
•  Oversee and maintain critical data center infrastructure components such as CRAC units, network switches, UPS systems, generators, and chillers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, backup solutions, security protocols, antivirus tools, and firewall management
• Hands-on experience with at least one major vendor ecosystem: Juniper, VMware, Microsoft, or Cisco
• Demonstrated ability to self-manage tasks, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple support cases simultaneously
