Automotive Dealership General Manager (Dealer Principal)

  • Responsible for leading overall dealership operations, including sales, after-sales, and business performance to achieve sustainable growth
  • Salary up to 9,000 USD

The Role

This is a senior and strategic leadership position for an experienced automotive professional. The role focuses on overseeing the full dealership operation, including sales, after-sales, and financial performance. The successful candidate will take full ownership of business operations, drive revenue growth, ensure operational excellence, and maintain high customer satisfaction standards while aligning with regional strategies.

Description

  • Lead and manage overall dealership operations including sales and after-sales
  • Drive achievement of sales targets and profitability across all departments
  • Develop and execute business strategies to expand market presence and revenue growth
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure high standards of customer service
  • Monitor financial performance including P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Manage inventory for vehicles, spare parts, and accessories
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor activities
  • Lead, coach, and develop teams to achieve operational and sales targets
  • Ensure continuous improvement of operational processes and performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive dealership management in Southeast Asia Markets and experience in handling Chinese Brand
  • Strong experience managing both sales and after-sales functions
  • Proven track record in driving business growth and profitability
  • Strong understanding of automotive industry practices
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management ability
  • Fluent in English
