Product Coordinator at an International Automotive Business in Vientiane

  • Responsible for managing the lifestyle of the vehicle from factory ordering to showroom delivery
  • Up to 15,000,000 LAK plus allowances

The ideal candidate has experience in managing the ordering, inventory management, pricing analysis, reporting, and product support functions. This role ensures product availability, accuracy of information, and seamless coordination across internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in cross-functional communication and experience working in the automotive industry.

Description

Product & Inventory Management

  • Coordinate the full product ordering process, ensuring correct configurations and timely submissions.
  • Monitor pipelines and inventory levels to ensure adequate product availability.
  • Conduct regular stock checks across all storage locations.
  • Coordinate with planning teams on allocations, production updates, and specification changes. 

Pricing, Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare product costing and maintain pricing structures.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to support pricing decisions.
  • Create and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports including: 
    • stock updates
    • performance plans
    • production plans
    • composite reports
    • inventory aging
    • pipeline reports
    • internal compliance reports

Commercial & Sales Support

  • Provide technical product insights to support the sales team.
  • Configure products for customer quotations and prepare costing sheets.
  • Update brochures, spec sheets, and internal presentation materials.
  • Ensure digital product listings and internal systems reflect accurate specifications and availability.

Operational Administration & Compliance

  • Ensure proper documentation for sales, delivery, approvals, and operational processes.
  • Monitor demo/sample units and ensure updates in internal systems.
  • Oversee product registration, shipment tracking, and claims processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal facility standards, operational guidelines, and audit requirements.

Systems & Tools Management

  • Use internal systems to monitor orders, stock, submissions, compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge in required digital tools through continuous learning.

Team Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with administration, sales, logistics, finance, and other internal departments to maintain operational flow.
  • Participate in weekly/monthly team meetings and performance discussions.
  • Support knowledge sharing and contribute to team development activities.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in administration, coordination, or operations management
  • Strong reporting skills and basic accounting knowledge.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; strong analytical ability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
