The Role

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with donor and local regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning for the organization.

Description

• Manage daily finance and accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, internal policies, and local regulations
• Coordinate external audits and support internal control processes
• Monitor cash flow and oversee fund management activities
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decisions
• Improve financial systems, processes, and reporting efficiency
• Support project teams with budget tracking and grant utilization monitoring

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
• Experience in non-profit organizations or donor-funded projects is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
• Good understanding of donor regulations and grant management
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software
• Strong communication skills in English; Lao language is a must
