The Role

We are partnering with a newly established Agri-business company in Laos to find a hands-on and strategic Finance Manager to lead the full finance function. 

About the Company

Our client is a newly established international agri-business company based in Laos, focused on building a sustainable and fast-growing operation within the agricultural and manufacturing sector. 

Description

• Oversee full-spectrum finance and accounting operations 
• Set up and improve finance processes, internal controls, and reporting systems 
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning 
• Ensure compliance with Lao tax regulations and statutory requirements 
• Prepare financial and management reports for leadership team 
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners 
• Support operational and business expansion activities 
• Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management 
• Lead treasury activities and oversee banking relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting
• Strong experience in full-set accounting, tax, and compliance
• Experience in startup/setup environment is highly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills in English and Lao
