This role drives business growth by identifying opportunities and leading B2G initiatives, including presenting and securing banking projects with government institutions.

Description
- Develop and execute government relations strategies aligned with the bank’s business objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, regulators, and key public sector stakeholders
- Act as the primary liaison between the bank and government institutions
- Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to present and sell banking solutions/projects to government entities
- Monitor regulatory developments and provide strategic advice to senior management
- Support business expansion by facilitating approvals, licenses, and policy alignment
- Represent the bank in high-level meetings, forums, and industry discussions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Policy, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or corporate affairs
- Strong network within government institutions in Laos
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and policy engagement
- Experience in banking, financial services, or large multinational organizations is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Fluent in Lao and English
