Senior Accountant at the Beverage Company in Vientiane, Laos

• Oversee financial planning and monitoring including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and detailed financial reporting to maintain financial stability and accountability
• Up to 15,000,000 LAK plus other allowances

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and support strategic financial planning

Our client is a beverage company known for its premium brands, including in Laos, where it is actively marketing and expanding its presence

Description

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Oversee general ledger and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Monitor and improve internal financial controls
• Provide guidance to junior accounting staff
• Prepare and submit tax filings and regulatory documents
• Evaluate financial data to support strategic decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance management roles, preferably with team leadership responsibilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Lao language is advantageous
