The Role
The Legal Supervisor will oversee legal operations, ensure compliance with local and international laws, and provide strategic legal support across various departments and projects

About the Company

Our client is one of the international companies in Laos and is seeking to maximize benefits to offer local consumers’ preferences

Description

•  Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including service agreements, loan agreements, MoUs, and commercial contracts
•  Provide legal advice on corporate matters, labor law, international law, and regulatory compliance
•  Support due diligence processes and issue legal opinions for business transactions and partnerships
•  Liaise with external legal counsel, government agencies, and regulatory bodies
•  Monitor legal risks and propose mitigation strategies
•  Ensure timely and accurate reporting of legal activities and updates to senior management
•  Assist in litigation and dispute resolution processes

Requirements

•  Bachelor’s degree in law or related field (master’s in law or specialization preferred
•  Knowledge of legal terminology, compliance procedures, and case management systems
•  1–3 years in a legal environment, with prior supervisory or team leadership experience
•  Strong problem-solving and workflow optimization skills
•  Understanding of relevant regulatory and organizational policies
•  Proficiency in English and Lao; additional languages are a plus
