Description
- Oversee and manage the accounts receivable team to ensure efficient operations and high productivity
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable data, identifying trends, outstanding debts, and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to improve collection processes and reduce overdue accounts
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation of customer accounts
- Prepare and present regular financial reports, including aging analysis, cash flow forecasts, and collection activity reports, to management
- Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients, review and approve credit terms, and manage credit risk assessments
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Oversee the continuous improvement of AR processes and implement changes based on audit findings or management directives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience in an international or multicultural business environment is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, credit management, and collections best practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and CRM systems
- Familiarity with local financial regulations and international accounting standards is preferred
- Proficiency in Lao and English is a must
