The role involves overseeing various legal matters, managing contracts, mitigating risks, and ensuring that the company operates within the framework of applicable laws and regulations

Description

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and legal requirements in Laos
• Ensure that contracts are legally sound, minimize risks, and protect the company's interests
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and resolve legal disputes or issues as they arise
• Identify legal risks and potential liabilities facing the company and develop strategies to mitigate them
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law; Master's degree or higher qualifications preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, preferably with a focus on corporate and commercial law
• Strong knowledge of Laotian laws and regulations, particularly in areas relevant to manufacturing operations
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial sector preferred
• Fluency in English and Laotian languages, both written and verbal
