Tax Manager at one of the International Companies in Vientiane, Laos

  • Overseeing financial operations including compliance with tax obligations, financial reporting, and risk management

  • Up to 30,000,000 LAK plus other allowances and benefits 


The Role

The role is ensuring compliance with local regulations, preparing reports, advising on strategic planning related to taxes, and managing relationships with external advisors

Description

  • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, operations) to ensure alignment on tax matters
  • Develop and implement processes for efficient tax management
  • Identify potential tax risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Conduct research on international tax laws affecting operations in Laos
  • Review financial statements to ensure accurate tax reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in taxation, Accounting, Finance, or Law
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a similar role within multinational companies
  • Strong understanding of local and international tax regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English and Lao is required
