• Ensures company’s compensation structure and benefits packages are competitive, compliant with local regulations, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives
• Up to 50,000,000 LAK other allowances and benefits

The Role

The role is analysing compensation data, preparing reports, and providing recommendations for improving employee satisfaction and retention

Our client is one of the international companies in Vientiane, Laos and is seeking to maximize benefits to support the needs of the local demand

Description

• Define a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits package that fits and is aligned to company’s strategy and business goals
• Evaluate employee benefits policies to assess whether they are competitive and in accordance with legislation
• Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with local Labor laws and regulations
• Analyse compensation data and prepare regular reports for senior management
• Develop and implement communication strategies to inform employees about compensation and benefits programs
• Resolves employee questions and problems by interpreting benefit policies and procedures and other tasks assigned by line manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• 5 years’ experience in compensation and benefits with successful track record of developing teams
• Thorough knowledge of Lao Labor laws and regulations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must
• Travel within country as necessary
