Financial Controller at one of the International Companies in Vientiane, Laos

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making
• Up to 60,000,000 LAK plus other allowances and benefits

The Role

The role is ensuring compliance with local and international financial reporting standards and provide transparent and accurate financial information to stakeholders

Description

• Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of financial systems and software
• Liaise with tax authorities and consultants to resolve tax issues
• Prepare and present financial information to investors and stakeholders
• Lead the development of long-term financial strategies aligned with the company’s strategic goals
• Monitor financial risks and develop mitigation plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (master’s degree or CPA/ACCA certification preferred)
• At least 7-10 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles
• Proven experience in a senior finance management position, preferably within an international company
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Fluency in English (knowledge of the local language is an advantage)
