• Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations using professional audit standards

• Up to 30,000,000 LAK plus other allowances and benefits

The Role

This role involves developing and maintaining a quality assurance and improvement program for the internal audit activity

Description

• Ensure accounting data quality and compliance with internal and donor regulations

• Implement and monitor risk-based audit engagements for the organization according to audit frequency policies and standards

• Analyse data for evidence of deficiencies, fraud, and non-compliance with laws, regulations and management policies

• Manage budgets, cashflow, financial reporting, and donor policy adherence for the country program

 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of local legal and tax compliance requirements

• Proficiency in both Lao and English languages

• Strong understanding of local and international compliance regulations
