The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced renewable energy professional to join a leading clean energy technology company. The Service Engineer will be responsible for managing field service activities, supporting solar PV and energy storage projects, coordinating with customers and service partners, and ensuring reliable system performance throughout the project lifecycle

Description
- Manage and support end-to-end service operations, including pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities
- Provide technical support for solar PV systems, inverters, energy storage systems, and related power electronics equipment
- Coordinate field service activities with customers, internal teams, and local service partners to ensure timely issue resolution
- Manage service partners, including performance evaluation, work coordination, and contract-related activities
- Support service sales activities by preparing service proposals and identifying opportunities for business growth
- Conduct fault diagnosis and technical investigations to improve system reliability and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate service records, spare parts inventory, equipment tracking, and service reports
- Ensure all field activities comply with local health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Plan and coordinate technical activities with project, sales, and engineering teams
- Provide technical guidance and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
- Support long-term customer engagement through regular communication and service improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy, solar PV, power electronics, or related industries
- Hands-on experience with solar PV installation, commissioning, maintenance, or troubleshooting
- Strong technical understanding of PV inverters, energy storage systems, and electrical systems
- Experience in field service operations and customer technical support
- Good project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Good command of English; Chinese language ability is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of SCADA systems is an advantage
