• Responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies for new business operations

The Role

This is an exciting position for an experienced professional in supply chain and procurement. You will lead negotiations with key suppliers, manage purchasing strategies, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and competitive advantage

Description

• Manage relationships and negotiate with key suppliers at a senior strategic level
• Ensure value for money, quality standards, and timely delivery through effective contract terms
• Develop negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
• Forecast price trends and market conditions to maintain balance in buyer/supplier power
• Partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
• Create and sustain competitive advantage through global market exploitation and leveraging technologies
• Implement supplier evaluation processes to ensure compliance and performance
• Work closely with R&D to source new and alternative raw materials
• Ensure purchasing policies and guidelines are consistently applied
• Frequent travel required for business and supplier engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management and procurement
• Proven track record in strategic purchasing and supplier management
• Strong knowledge of automotive processes and supply chain components
• Excellent negotiation and cost management skills
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel
• Ability to add value and make process improvements
