Accounting and Finance Manager at a Construction Company in Laos

• Oversee full financial operations, manage budgets and forecasts, ensure compliance with regulations, coordinate audits, lead the finance team, prepare monthly and annual reports, and provide financial insights for strategic planning
• Up to 25,000,000 LAK plus other attractive benefit packages

The Role

This position involves managing all accounting and finance functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Lao tax laws and international accounting standards, and leading the budgeting and forecasting process. The Accounting and Finance Manager will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting management in strategic decision-making

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions
• Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
• Ensure full compliance with Lao tax regulations and implement effective tax planning
• Maintain robust internal controls and risk management practices
• Supervise and mentor the accounting and finance team
• Coordinate external audits and ensure proper financial documentation
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management
• Lead initiatives for process improvement and financial system enhancement

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are highly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of Lao accounting and tax regulations, and familiarity with international standards (GAAP/IFRS)
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
