The Role

This role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, managing payments, preparing tax reports, and ensuring compliance with Lao regulations

About the Company

Our client is a construction company in Laos that is well recognized for upholding strong industry standards in quality and accountability

Description

• Manage petty cash and bank balances for daily operations 
• Prepare and record daily transactions in Excel and accounting systems 
• Ensure accurate posting and correct classification of transactions 
• Handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and inventory control 
• Arrange payments for both overseas and local vendors 
• Prepare and track fixed asset lists 
• Ensure stock reports align with accounting records 
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports 
• Prepare monthly and yearly tax reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience as an accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial standards
• Understanding of tax laws, labor law, and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with internal control procedures 
• Advanced Excel skills 
• Good English and Lao communication skills
