The Role

Support the Finance Manager in overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and efficient financial management

About the Company

Our client company is a trading company in Laos, specializing in the distribution and sale of high-quality products

Description

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor daily accounting operations and ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support in maintaining compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and financial standards
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business decision-making
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow to ensure proper financial control and liquidity
• Assist in managing the finance team and providing training and support to junior staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting, with prior experience in a trading or similar industry being an advantage
• Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and local tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Proficiency in English and Laotian, both in written and spoken
